本真而不神秘:儒家本源体验的特质

摘  要: 依据体验发生的情境、修持方法、描述语言,儒家的本源体验可以分为神秘体验与非神秘体验两类。前一类体验是常人不容易获得的,玄妙、神秘的形上体验;后一类体验是常人容易获得的,亲切、明白的本真情感体验,它是儒家本源体验的特质之所在。近代以来,受到西方哲学、特别是比较宗教学学术话语的影响,学者们通常将儒家的本源体验不加分别地称作神秘主义的,这导致人们对儒家非神秘性本源体验——基于伦常生活的本真情感体验的忽视。揭示并发扬基于伦常生活的本真情感体验,对人们正确看待古代儒学传统、对儒学的当代开展具有重要的意义。

Authentic and non-mysterious: The trait of original experience of Confucianism

Abstract: According to the situation in which the experience happened, the way of cultivation, and descriptive language, original experience of Confucianism can be divided into two types: mysterious experience and non-mysterious experience. The former is metaphysical experience which is too profound and mysterious to be acquired by general people; the latter refers to originally emotional experience which is easy to be gotten by general people, and is the trait of original experience of Confucianism. In the modern times, under the influence of western philosophy and comparative religion in particular, scholars always indiscriminately see the original experience of Confucianism as mystical. This leads to the ignorance of the non-mysterious experience of Confucianism, which is actually the original experience of Confucianism based on human relational life. Recovering and carrying forward the original experience of Confucianism which is based on human relational life will exert great significance on people’s understanding of Confucian tradition and on the development of Confucianism in modern society.
