东林学派的新型伦理观要论

摘  要: 东林学派是明代末期一个颇有社会影响的学术团体,其学风以经世致用为鲜明特征。他们的伦理思想,既禀承传统儒家的宗旨,又富于时代特色。就本体而论,他们抨击无善无恶说,复兴性善说;在道德实践方面,而倡导主敬与慎独的道德修为工夫,反对虚玄。这种求实务本、知行并重的新型伦理观,为明清之际的实学开启了方向。

A brief comment on the ethical concept of donglin school

Abstract: The School of Donglin was an academic group in the late Ming Dynasty, which had ever affected its society then, characterized by concerning reality and application. Their ethical thoughts took the traditional Confucian aim with distinctive times features. In ontology, they attacked the argument of nongood and nonevil, and revived the argument of naturegood. In moral practice, they didn't pursue impractical style but advocated ZhuJing (revering in mind) and ShenDu (being cautious in mind). Their ethic was a new type of ethic that sought both reality and originality, paying attention to both knowledge and practice, which opened a route for the real learning between Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.
