关于翻译中文化意象的传递
———从《红楼梦》英译本中原语文化意象的缺损谈起 |

| 摘 要： 文学翻译中文化问题比语言问题更重要。通过分析古典名著《红楼梦》的两种英译本中文化意象的缺损情况,指出翻译中文化意象的传递应遵循“文化传真”与“存异求同”之原则,灵活使用各种翻译方法,力求保持原语文化意象的完整性和一致性。 |

| Abstract: Culture is more important than language itself in literature translation. Taking the inversion of the original cultural image in the two English versions ofHong Lou Meng for example, the author points out, translators should follow the principle of cultural facsimile and reserving differences while seeking common ground in order to keep the original culture imagery intact through different approaches, when dealing with the matters of culture in translation |
