On Deleuze's thoughts and poetics of Interality

CAI Xi

(College of Literature and Journalism, Xiangtan University, Xiangtan 411105, China)

Abstract: Since the 20th century, the highlighting of interality has already become the theoretical consensus of the academic circle, but the French philosopher Deleuze's thought of interality has long been ignored by the academia. Deleuze, based on philosophy of differences and the thinking of becoming, deconstructs the rationalist metaphysical tradition since Plato, and creates a large number of original categories of interality poetics, such as rhizome, becoming, assemblage, deterritorialization and re-territorialization. These categories pay great attention to the relationship between "and..." established by the encounter, overlapping the tension of the complex interactive interality relationship. Deleuze's intersexual poetics category, on the one hand, provides us with theoretical weapon of analysis of immigrant literature, diaspora literature, underprivileged literature, ethnic literature, African literature, Chinese literature and other literary phenomena that permeate the inter-cultural nature of homogeneous and heterogeneous cultures. On the other hand, it provides a new paradigm and path for us to ponder upon the expansion of contemporary literary theories.
