诗性原则与文献意识：美国汉学家华兹生英译杜甫诗歌研究 |

| 摘 要： 华兹生翻译的《杜甫诗选》在杜诗英译史上具有重要地位与典范意义。从译者的诗性原则与文献意识出发，分别探讨了译诗韵律、语体、修辞、选目、忠实性与译本结构，对华兹生杜诗译本展开全面分析，认为其译本兼顾译诗作为翻译文学的诗性，与作为文学史料的文献功能，基本再现了诗人及其名下诗文的面貌，丰富了杜诗在美国的译介谱系与维度。对华兹生成功译介杜诗经验的考察，有助于启迪对中国古诗译介策略的思考，加深对文学外译本质属性的认识。 |

Poetic principle and documentary awareness: A study on the selected poems of Du Fu by Burton Watson |

| Abstract: The Selected Poems of Du Fu by Burton Watson plays a significant and canonical role among the English translations of Du Fu’s poems. Setting the translator’s poetic principle and documentary consciousness as the analytical framework, the paper respectively conducted a comprehensive study on The Selected Poems of Du Fu from the aspects of rhythm, genre, rhetoric, selection, faithfulness and structure. It is argued that his translation well combines the poetic quality and documentary function, and therefore approximately represents the literary image of Du Fu and the poetic features of his poetry. The research on the successful experience of Watson’s translation may shed light on the translation strategies of classical Chinese poetry and enhance the understanding of the nature of literary translation. |
