语义压制的表现形式及其运作——兼论“情感强化副词+X”的语义解读 |

| 摘 要： 已有研究聚焦于词汇和构式层面的语义冲突与压制，未充分考虑语境在语义冲突消解中的作用。在构式语法框架下，以“情感强化副词+X”构式的语义解读为例，探讨语义压制的表现形式及其运作。发现：1)语义冲突的消解中存在“词汇-构式”压制的形式，也存在“词汇-构式-语境”压制的形式；2)“情感强化副词+X”构式的组构成分与语境语义相宜不造成冲突时，构式受“Very+X”的压制，解读为原型构式义“X达到让人产生某种情感的高程度”；3)“情感强化副词+X”构式的组构成分语义存在冲突时，语境显性参与压制，决定情感强化副词和X的语义升格或降格，构式可能表现为原型构式义，也可能表现为情感语义漂白，“高程度”语义得到凸显，态度语义上接近“Very+X”构式。 |

Forms and operations of semantic coercion: Interpretations for “Emotive Intensifiers + X” construction |

| Abstract: Previous researches mainly focus on the semantic conflicts and coercions at lexical and constructional levels, while not enough attention has been paid to the role of context in the elimination of semantic conflict. Under the framework of Construction Grammar, this paper, taking “Emotive Intensifiers + X” construction as a case, explores the forms of semantic conflict and their operations. This study shows: 1) In the course of semantic conflict elimination, there exist forms of “Lexical-constructional” coercion and “Lexical-constructional-contextual” coercion as well; 2) When constituents of “Emotive Intensifiers + X” construction are in accordance with the context and there is no semantic conflict, the construction is coerced by “Very + X” and interpreted as “X is in a high degree to cause certain emotions”; 3) When constituents of “Emotive Intensifiers + X” construction are inconsistent, the context will be explicitly involved in the coercion, determining the semantic upgradation and degradation of the emotive intensifier and X. The construction may be interpreted as the prototypical construction meaning, or as the bleached emotional meaning and profiled “high degree” meaning, close to “Very + X” construction in the attitude meaning. |
