王廷相的“道真”观念与儒家道论传统的转型

摘  要: 王廷相的“道真”观念富有道家思想意味,这一观念集中体现了他对儒家之道的理解及其学说品格,且蕴含“求道”与“求真”的思想张力。道真说显现出王廷相对儒家之道的理解具有独立、明辨和求真的现代性价值诉求,体现出道的开放性、批判性和经世致用性等思想特质。这些思想特质对宋儒特别是朱熹所确立的道统说构成一定程度的批判,理论上成为明清之际的反理学思潮以及清代中期“新道论”的思想前缘,在儒家道论传统由“求道”向“求真”的转型中起到了促进作用。

Wang Ting-xiang's concept of Dao Zhen and the transformation of the tradition of Taoist theory of Confucianism

Abstract: Wang Ting-xiang's concept of Dao Zhen, rich in Taoist thoughts, embodies not only Wang's understanding of Confucianism and the character of his doctrines, but also his ideological tension between seeking Tao and seeking Truth. His theory of Dao Zhen reflects that his understanding of Confucianism shows both modern appeals of independence, discrimination and truth-seeking, and characters of openness, criticism, statecraft of Dao in Confucianism. These characters, to a certain extent, criticized ZhuXi's Taoist orthodoxy, and, theoretically, became the trend of the anti-Neo-Confucian at the turn of Ming and Qing as well as the leading edge of thought of new theory of Tao in the mid-Qing Dynasty. Hence, the concept promoted the transformation of the tradition of Taoist theory of Confucianism from seeking Tao to seeking truth.
