| 摘 要： 奥威尔运用福柯的生命政治理论阐释奥威尔的反极权主义小说《一九八四》，借此展现了大众生命在遭受否定性权力惩戒后，被权力的单边主义真理推向极端，直接裸露在权力之下，最后沦为纯粹“赤裸生命”的情状，集中显现了权力彻底政治化时未来社会的生命政治学和社会伦理范式。以生命抵抗政治的生存美学，传达了个人如何在政治与技术的双重生命场域中“复活”并生存的现实问题。 |

Punishing and governing life and aesthetics of existence: Reading Orwell’s Nineteen Eight-Four |

| Abstract: Based on the theory of biopolitique which was initiated by Foucault, the present essay clearly illustrates the bio-political nature disclosed in the totalitarian novel Nineteen Eight-Four by Orwell. Employing Big Brother as a symbol of power, Oceania, a country ruled by Ing. Soc, imposed a series of physical punishments and life governance techniques on Winston Smith, who was an outer party member. In the novel, Orwell reveals to us how the individual life could be reduced to bare life after suffering the political and technological interpenetration, and meanwhile he also expresses his deep concern for human life as well as his hope and pursuit for existence of aesthetics in the life field. |
