共同价值何以可能——从多元论的逻辑悖论切入 |

| 摘 要： 共同价值的提出有着深远的理论渊源和现实需要，而共同价值的概念也极易让人产生价值同化或文化归同的含混和误解，故基于可能性的讨论是后续研究的前提和要求。从分析多元论将价值理解为不可通约性这一视角入手，指出多元论找不到在诸多选项中作出理性选择的基础和一般性原则来解决价值冲突，其行事方式带有相对主义和主观主义的倾向，为在自身理论框架内自圆其说，多元论只有通过隐蔽着普遍性的论证来为自己提供辩护这一逻辑悖论。由此提出价值多样化的程度应受到平衡性或一致性的限制，为了维系多元价值能够相互兼容而不至于相互破坏，需要一个保护人的生存所必需的共同价值作为基础这一观点，从而为共同价值“何以可能”找到正当合理的依据。 |

On the possibility of common values: From the logical paradox of pluralism |

| Abstract: The proposal of common values was far reaching with profound theoretical origins and strong practical necessity, but the concept was very much likely to bring about ambiguity and misunderstandings with value or cultural assimilation. Therefore, discussion on the possibility of common values serves as the prerequisite and requirement of subsequent studies. Starting from the perspective of analyzing the incommensurability of pluralism, the present essay points out a logical paradox of pluralism. It indicates that pluralism fails to find out he basis and general principle for making a rational choice among numerous options to resolve the issue of value conflicts. With the tendency of relativism and subjectivism, pluralism can only resort to the argument of disguised universality for self-justification within its own theoretical framework. Therefore, the essay puts forward that the degree of value diversity should be subject to restriction of balance or consistency, and that it is necessary for common values to serve as basis to protect human survival in order to keep multiple values mutually compatible rather than destructive, hence finding out a reasonable theoretical support for the possibility of common values. |
