Model Opera: A kind of revolutionary narrative
featuring quasi-religion |

| Abstract: Base on the analysis of the text, the author treats the model opera of Great Cultural Revolution as a highly symbolized semiotic system, and discourses three aspects: the establishment of divine, ceremony and ceremony meaning and the pureness of collective presentation. The author draws the conclusion that the model opera of Great Cultural Revolution is actually a kind of revolutionary narrative featuring quasi-religion. |
