论古代“文章学”的兴起与嬗变

摘  要: 经义考试让程颐看到散体文章创作的兴盛、普及,认识到文章与阐发经学义理密不可分,在此基础上他明确提出了“文章之学”。朱熹、吕祖谦等人则认识到从义理的角度阐发经典与围绕立意写作经义文章。他们在如何分析文章的篇章字句等方面有高度的契合,由此他们也真正赋予“文章之学”切实的内涵。程颐将“文章之学”与“训诂之学”“儒者之学”并列提出,也是对文、道分立的明确体认,以此为契机,明清文章学由关注法度向审美领域拓展。

On the beginning and the development of the essay composition theory of ancient times

Abstract: The imperial examinations made Cheng Yi realize that ancient essay composition was becoming popular, and that essay composition and the interpretation of classics were closely related. On this basis, he specifically put forward “essay composition theory”. At the same time, Zhu Xi and Lv Zuqian realized that classics should be interpreted from the perspective of argumentation and that writing should center round conception. So they could reinvest “essay composition theory” with concrete content. In Ming and Qing dynasties, the understanding and discussions about relations between literature and doctrines reached a higher level, and the essay composition theory was gradually expanded to the connotation, beginning to focus on the aesthetics.
