唐君毅论儒学的宗教性

摘  要: 从儒学义理内涵看,儒学具有信仰和超越性的双重内涵,儒教为本心本性即天心天性的天人合德之教,儒学既是一种哲学理论形态,又是儒教,仁心本性为一切宗教精神与信仰之根源。从祭祀礼仪制度层面看,三祭是具有宗教意义的活动,重对神的报恩。天地、祖先、圣贤的图像存在于现实世界的自然与历史秩序之中,可使人超越当前现实世界,又可使心灵不陷溺于对超世的想象中,实现现实世界与超现实世界在纯宗教心灵观照下的不脱节。因此唐君毅认为儒学具有宗教性,儒家的超越智慧涵盖了西方的宗教智慧。

Tang Junyi’s experiments on the religious connotation of Confucianism

Abstract: Confucianism has double connotations which are belief and transcendent. Confucianism religion believes that human’s nature is the heaven’s nature, so Confucian is both a kind of philosophy and religion. Ren xin ben xing is the source of all kind of religions and beliefs. From the system of sacrifice, three sacrifice rites are one kind of actions which have religion meaning. Heaven and earth, ancestors, saint exist in actual and historical order, which might make people transcend current world and might help people out of imagination of another world, thus connecting actual world and super actual world under the watch of pure spirit of religion. Judging from this, Tang Junyi contented that Confucian has the character of religion, and author believes that the transcendent wisdom of Confucian contains western religion wisdom.
