人文精神与科学精神并重的和谐教育模式思考
--从斯诺“两种文化”的论说谈起 |

| 摘 要： 斯诺(C.P. Snow)于1959年在英国发表关于“两种文化”的演讲，指出当时英国社会中文学文化与科学文化之间的隔阂与互不理解，呼吁社会重拾人文和科学并举的文化态度，目的是鼓励人们在教育领域采取积极行动。文化与教育本是紧密联系的关联领域，文学文化氛围对浮躁或功利化教育现象有抑制和改造作用，斯诺的观点对当前中国大学教育有可借鉴之处。通过引证现代西方大学的通识教育模式，提出大学教育向培养崇尚文学和科学两大精神的和谐教育模式转变的途径。 |

Thoughts on the harmonious education mode integrating humanistic and scientific sprits:Based on Snow’s Two Cultures of Literature and Science |

| Abstract: C.P. Snow made the speech on the topic “Two Cultures” in UK in 1959, pointing out the gap and isolation between two cultures of literature and science in British society and calling on the society to regain the intercultural attitude between literature and science in order to encourage the British people to take positive action in the field of education. Culture and education, which are closely related to each other, can create a literary or humanistic atmosphere that plays an important role in the inhibition and transformation of phenomenon of impulsive or utilitarian education. In this way, present Chinese college education can learn something from it. The citation of General Education, a popular educational mode widely applied in modern western universities, is supposed to cultivate the spirit of harmonious education paradigm shift advocating both the literary culture and scientific culture. |
