| 摘 要： 在众多关于希腊哲学的文献中，第欧根尼∙拉尔修的《名哲言行录》是一本独特的哲学史书，它采用了一种传记体的方式，记载了希腊哲人的种种轶事，因而显得比较零散。本文尝试以一种哲学分析的方法来解读这本书：首先选取了五个具有典型性的哲人故事，分别对这五个故事进行论述，以求如实展现出五位哲人迥异的性格和思想特征；而后采取一种哲学分析的方法，滤去这些故事表层的差异，揭示出五位哲人的共性，即从古希腊延续至今的西方哲学的内在精神：哲学乃是对智慧的追求。 |

| Abstract: Diogenes Laertius’s the Lives and Opinions of Eminent Philosophers is a special philosophical history book. In the essay, the author tries to review the book with a philosophical analysis method, that is, make an analysis of five stories about five different Greek philosophers. The five stories in turn are Tales and the tripod, the episode before the death of Socrates, the funny thing about Diogenes, Pyrrho’s the weirdly peaceful attitude, Pythagoras, who is a famous mysticist, on soul and reasonality. Although these philosophers have different characters and philosophical thoughts, the author contends that will argue they have the same faith. viz., all of them believe that philosophy is the pursuit of wisdom. |
