Abstract:At the beginning of sixteenth century, Lu Nan as the most famous schoolar in Guanzhong district still adhered to Cheng-chu theory when facing the impacts of Yang-ming’s doctrine. He had quite heated argument with the yang-ming followers in many spheres, such as the teaching method, the relationship of knowing and doing, and so on. The criticism and refusal from Lu Nan had a great impact on the other Guanzhong’s scholars and effectively rejected the spread of Yang-ming philosophy in Guanzhong district, making it unable to achieve the mainstream of Guanzhong’s Neo-Confucianism.) |
