左舜生的辛亥革命史研究及其治史特色 |

| 摘 要： 左舜生是从事中国近代史研究的先驱者之一。左的早期辛亥革命史著作，初具规模，渐成体系，将辛亥革命史研究逐渐提高到学术研究层面，晚期研究进一步发展，更显完备成熟。《黄兴评传》突破了国民党正统学派之藩篱，成为当时最有分量的黄兴传记之一。左对辛亥革命的研究时段、范围、性质、成败均有自己的看法，对辛亥人物及重大事件亦有许多真知灼见。从其研究中，可以发现左氏特别重视史料搜集及整理，注重史学教育功能和历史知识的传播普及以及严谨持重、议论客观独立，擅长归类总结和史实考订等特征。左氏史学亦有研究范围狭小、未做专题研究等缺憾。总体而言，左氏不失为一位多有建树的近代史专家。 |

Zuo Shunsheng’s study of the history of the 1911 Revolution and characteristics of his works |

| Abstract: Zuo Shunsheng was one of the pioneers of studying the history of modern China. His early works on the 1911 Revolution possessed a preliminary scale and gradual system and had stronger academic significance. Furthermore, his late study appeared more mature. The Commentary Biolgraphy of Huang Xin, which broken the KMT'S orthodox view, was one of the most important books about Huang Xing. Zuo had his particular opinions on the famous people and events, as well as the period, scope, nature, result of the 1911 Revolution. His study showed his own characteristics, such as paying a special attention to source collection and identification, focusing on the educational function an, d the knowledge spread of history, his strict attitude, independent and objective discussion, are good at the classification, conclusion, investigation and correction of the historical facts, and so on. Some defects, can be found in his study, such as narrow range of research and not making topic study. In general, Zuo was still an accomplished historian. |
