谈夏洛蒂·勃朗特作品中的创伤记忆书写

摘  要: 在夏洛蒂·勃朗特仅有的四部小说《教师》《简·爱》《雪莉》和《维莱特》中,女主人公成长过程中爱的缺失是一个重要的主题。爱的缺失致使她们在无人呵护的成长过程中伤痕累累,并因此背负了心理创伤。夏洛蒂之所以重复使用这个主题,与她成长过程中爱的缺失和创伤经历是不无关系的。正是通过诉诸笔触,夏洛蒂本人关于创伤经验的记忆及被压抑的情感也得以宣泄。

On traumatic memory in Charlotte Bronte’s works

Abstract: In all her life, Charlotte Brontë wrote only four novels: The Professor, Jane Eyre, Shirley and Villette. The lack of care and love in her heroines’ growth is an important theme. And just because of the lack of love, her heroines are hurt and have a traumatic memory about the past. In Charlotte Bronte’s growth, she also had some traumatic experiences, and that is just the reason she repeatedly wrote about this theme. And in this way, Charlotte Bronte confessed her own traumatic memory about some traumatic experiences in her growth.
