| Abstract: A Probe into the origin of English family names fromthe perspective ofmicro-cultural implications demonstrates that the formative process of family names presents patterns of distancing of reflecting→projecting→refracting→insinuating, which specifies a special part constructing linguistic world view in that ancient men did understand the perceptual events thatwe experience only by understanding human beings themselves. |
