论英语双宾结构的句法特征 |

| 摘 要： 以生成语法为理论基础,探讨了双宾结构和与格结构的生成过程。认为双宾结构和与格结构之间不存在转换过程,它们都是基础生成(base-generated)。同时,证明了用Larson的动词壳假设(VP shell)能够比较有效地解释双宾结构的生成过程。另外,通过对比主语和宾语之间的语义关系,发现双宾结构中的主语和间接宾语与直接宾语之间存在一种特殊的语义关系———“控制权”转换关系。 |

On syntactic features of the double object construction in English |

| Abstract: Based on the relative theories in generative grammar, after discussing the deriving processes of DOC and DC, the paper proposes that there exists no transformation between the two constructions. By using case theory, the paper proves that VP shell (Larson, 1988) can illustrate the generative process of DOC effectively. In addition, a special kind of semantic relation between subject/indirect object and direct object has been noticed———“the transfer of ownership”. |
